Master Plans

Our master plans provide rational and realistic development opportunities for small to large sites, shown clearly on visually impressive layouts.  Master plans may be developed at a concept level through to a detailed engineering level.  The more detailed, the more confidence you will have on deliverability and cost estimates.  Consultation with stakeholders is our speciality and is included as standard in any of our master plan projects.

Some of the projects we have worked on:

  • Kilcoy Recreational Grounds Master Plan
  • Petersen Road Sportsgrounds Facility Development Plan
  • Caboolture Sports Centre Preliminary Master Plan
  • Enoggera Creek Sport and Recreation Precinct Plan

Community Infrastructure Network Plans

This type of strategic planning looks at the physical locations and development standards of a single activity or type of infrastructure and compares them to demonstrated and predicted demand.  We work with representative bodies to identify and recommend opportunities to reduce service duplication, reduce cost and provide recommendations for prioritised investment into new activities or infrastructure in the areas in most need.

Some of the projects we have worked on:

  • Community Halls Network Plan (council-wide)
  • Showgrounds Network Plan (council-wide)
  • Meals on Wheels Network Plan (council-wide)
  • PCYC Network Plan (council-wide)

Feasibility Studies

Feasibility studies identify the likely usage, operational and management implications, and financial impact of proposed projects. They assist an organisation to determine if projects are viable, either financially or with equivalent value in community outcomes, and allow full understanding of the changes in operations that will be required to manage the new project once implemented.  We provide the strategic and operational knowledge to develop feasibility studies that present the most likely outcomes based on current local and broad-scale trends, and provide the documentation to support funding applications for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Some of the projects we have worked on:

  • Gympie Indoor Venues Feasibility Study
  • Southport-Carrara Netball Redevelopment Feasibility Study
  • Caboolture PCYC Pre-Feasibility Study

Concept Plans

Concept plans are usually undertaken as initial planning for a smaller precinct or an individual building or facility, to demonstrate that it can achieve the needs of the organisation in the footprint that is available.  A concept plan is usually required, at a minimum, to gain land owner’s approval to construct a new facility and/or to obtain grant funding.  For example, a new netball club may show three courts, spectator seating, car parks and a clubhouse on a concept plan.

Some of the projects we have worked on:

  • Redcliffe Tennis Centre Facility Development Plan
  • Kilcoy Recreational Grounds Camping Precinct Concept Plan
  • Padres Baseball Club Facility Development Plan
